Anti-Jemmy Strip

Anti -jemmy metal strips are fitted to the lock edge of outward opening doors. This security measure is to prevent the door from being prised open. Anti -jemmy strips are designed to cover over the area that the door closes into effectively denying access to the gap between the door and the jamb. Anti -jemmy strips can either run the full length of the door (recommended) or made to just protect around the locks. Round headed coach bolts are used to secure the anti- jemmy strip to the door and secured on the inside with washers and dome nuts. Each anti- jemmy strip is custom made to allow for locks and handles and the relevant cut outs are prepared prior to powder coating and fitting. The anti-jemmy strips can be powder coated steel and aluminium or stainless steel.
