Xpanda manufactures customised steel mesh screens to add extra protection for entrance doors or windows, Usually needed for fire-exit doors with a thumb-turn lock, or because of the stylish appearance.
They are often used for other applications requiring a mesh type finish such as steel cages for machinery or lock ups.
Frames are first manufactured to fit the application taking into account locks, handles and door closers in the case of external doors, or the type of accessibility required in the case of machinery enclosures.
Once the frame is welded then the mesh is cut to suit and welded onto the frame. Mounting plates and holes are all pre drilled to ensure the quick installation of the finished products. Steel mesh products are then sent to either galvanising or powder coating depending on the client’s requirements prior to installation. The installation is then a quick process with the minimum of inconvenience.
